Weather Situation

As a ridge of high pressure slowly moves to the east of Tasmania, a cold front is forecast to approach and cross Tasmania later today, as an associated low pressure system nears the southwest of the state, before tracking southwards away from Tasmania on Wednesday. A secondary cold front approaches from the west later on Wednesday, forecast to cross early Thursday. A southwesterly flow is expected to develop over Tasmania later Thursday.
