In the wake of a cold front, a west to northwesterly airstream will persist over Tasmania during Wednesday evening and Thursday. Another cold front is forecast to move over the state from the southwest during the day on Friday, with a southwesterly flow setting in behind it. On Saturday and Sunday. a high pressure system over the Bight is forecast to move slowly east, building a ridge over Tasmania.
