Weather Situation
A complex low pressure system off the northern NSW coast is bringing gusty gale-force winds to the Sydney Waters today. The primary centre of the system is forecast to move gradually east over the Tasman Sea overnight tonight and during Thursday, while the secondary low centre brushes the southern half of the coast on Thursday, maintaining strong southerly winds. Winds are forecast to ease gradually and tend northerly later in the week as the system moves further offshore and is followed by a large high pressure ridge moving across the state.
