Weather Situation
A low pressure system and trough over the Tasman Sea is driving a vigorous south to southwesterly flow over the southern and central coastal waters today and early Monday. From late Monday, the low and trough will weaken as a high pressure ridge extends over the coast, turning the winds north to northeasterly. A cold front is forecast to cross the coast during Wednesday.
