An offshore low pressure trough continues to move further eastward over the Tasman Sea through Monday, while a ridge of high pressure becomes the dominant feature this weekend with the centre of the high crossing the northern coast late Monday. The next cold front is forecast to cross the coast during Wednesday, bringing windy and showery conditions.
