Ex-Tropical Cyclone Mitchell continues to weaken into a broad trough as it moves over land. A ridge of high pressure over the southwest will strengthen over the rest of the south coast on Wednesday. A west coast trough will start to develop from Thursday, moving inland on Saturday as a cold front brushes the southwest coast.
