Southeasterly 15 to 20 knots, reaching up to 25 knots offshore west of Onslow during the morning. Winds becoming variable about 10 knots in the late afternoon then becoming south to southwesterly 10 to 15 knots in the late evening.

1 to 2 metres, decreasing below 1.5 metres around midday, then decreasing below 1 metre during the afternoon.

1st Swell

West to southwesterly below 1 metre inshore, increasing to 1 to 2 metres offshore.

Weather Situation

A broad trough lies over the Kimberley and North Interior with a ridge strengthening over the Gascoyne bringing southerly winds to the Pilbara and western Kimberley waters. As the ridge further expands into central Australia next week, the trough will be pushed out of WA and an easterly flow will return to the region.
