Weather Situation

A strong high pressure system in the Bight is moving east and is directing moderate to fresh and gusty east to southeasterly winds across much of the north. A weak trough will form along the west Pilbara coast by Monday as the high moves away, with winds easing and turning easterly. The trough will move inland on Wednesday ahead of a cold front moving through southern WA. A new ridge will develop across the west Pilbara coast from Thursday.
