- A trough is moving east through the South West Land Division and will move to the Goldfields on Tuesday, ahead of a cold front moving along the south coast. A strengthening ridge in the wake of the trough will result in a freshening southerly surge on Tuesday and Wednesday across southern and central WA. The trough will contract to the Interior as the ridge expands over southern and southern WA from Wednesday. A west coast trough will return on the weekend.
