Weather Situation

A trough extends from the inland Pilbara across the west Kimberley and Pilbara coasts. The western part of the trough will start to move inland through the Pilbara later today as a ridge to the south begins to weaken. As this ridge continues to contract towards the southeast, a new ridge will strengthen from the west into the Pilbara and adjacent waters from Thursday.
