- A broad westerly flow develops over Victoria, ahead of a cold front expected to cross southern districts during Wednesday. The front is expected to clear to the east of Bass Strait early Thursday, as a weak ridge of high pressure moves in from the west. A low pressure trough is forecast to approach the west of Victoria on Friday, crossing during Saturday ahead of a high pressure ridge to extend over the state from the west later.
