- A broad low pressure trough over northern Victoria is expected to linger over northern parts and extend over Gippsland in the coming days, as a high pressure system lies to the south over Tasmania. The trough is expected to deepen today and slowly move east into the Tasman Sea later in the week as a ridge of high pressure develops over Victoria over the weekend.
