Weather Situation

A high pressure system moves across Tasmania on Monday to be centred over the Tasman Sea later in the day and will persist there on Tuesday. A northerly airstream results over Victoria on Tuesday ahead of a trough expected to move over western and central districts in the afternoon and evening, extending through remaining districts on Wednesday. A ridge of high pressure moves into the west on Wednesday and persists to the south of Victoria on Thursday and Friday.
