- A broad area of low pressure over Victoria and Bass Strait is expected to slowly move eastwards during today. Another, more intense, low pressure system and associated cold front are forecast to move across Victoria and Bass Strait on Sunday. A high pressure ridge then builds across the Bass Strait from Monday to Thursday to direct a west to southwesterly flow over Coastal Waters.
