- Weather Situation
- A high pressure system over the southern Tasman Sea is directing an easterly airstream over Victoria and Bass Strait which will continue into Sunday. Winds will tend northeasterly on Monday as the high moves slowly east and a front and low pressure trough approach from the west. The trough is forecast to enter western Bass Strait on Tuesday afternoon before reaching central waters during the evening. The trough will clear to the east early on Wednesday as a ridge of high pressure extends across southern Victoria.
