- A low pressure system drifts eastward south of the Bight, extending a cold front over central Bass Strait. The low pressure system will then move over Bass Strait on Monday with a cool southwesterly airstream in its wake. A cold front moving south of the Bight is likely to reach western waters later Wednesday or Thursday.
