A ridge of high pressure moves over southern Victoria this evening and Thursday, as a trough lies near the NSW boarder. A broad area of low pressure is expected to develop over Victoria by Friday, with a trough lingering over central and eastern parts on Saturday and Sunday. Another ridge of high pressure begins to move in from the west by late Sunday.
