A cold front over Tasmania will move away to the east overnight, bringing a westerly stream that will persist through Tuesday with a high to build over the Bight and extend a ridge to the north of Tasmania. The high centre will slowly approach Tasmania on Wednesday, with the high expected to move over Tasmania on Thursday and slowly away to the east of the state during Friday.
