Weather Situation
A cold front crosses the State today with an low developing over Bass Strait in the evening. The low is expected to move away to the southeast tomorrow morning as a much colder southwesterly airstream flows over Tasmania. Winds are forecast to slowly ease through Thursday as a ridge builds over the state from a high over Victoria. The ridge is forecast to be very slow moving and remain in place over Tasmania until at least Friday.
