Weather Situation

A weak ridge is persisting to the south before a broad area of low pressure is forecast to approach from the west late today, moving over the state on Saturday. A second, more intense, low pressure system is then forecast to move over eastern Tasmania late Sunday. The low is expected to clear to the east during Monday morning, with a westerly flow to develop behind it.
