Weather Situation
A southwesterly flow will persist over Tasmania ahead of an approaching ridge of high pressure. The flow is expected to weaken and turn northerly throughout today as the ridge moves eastwards across the state and towards the Tasman Sea. A low pressure system over the southern mainland moves near Tasmania on Saturday with a series of cold fronts to follow through to early next week.
