A broad area of low pressure lingers over Tasmania this evening and during Tuesday. On Tuesday evening a cold front is forecast to cross the state, with a cooler southwesterly flow to develop behind it and persist through Wednesday and Thursday. Another low pressure system is forecast to move over the southeastern mainland during Friday, which will direct a trough and easterly flow over Tasmania.
