Cold and gusty southwesterly winds are expected to ease overnight, with a ridge of high pressure to approach and move over Tasmania later Saturday and early Sunday. The high is expected to move to the east of Tasmania later on Sunday and remain over the Southern Tasman Sea through Monday and Tuesday with a ridge to extend over the state.
