Weather Situation

A broad low pressure system lies to the west of Tasmania and is forecast to deepen and slowly move south east over Tasmania during Saturday and clear the State to the south on Sunday. A second, more intense, low pressure system is then forecast to move across Bass Strait Sunday and clear to the east Monday morning. A ridge of high pressure then extends across Tasmania and persists Monday and Tuesday to direct a westerly flow.
