Weather Situation

A west to northwesterly airstream prevails over Tasmania until Monday, as an area of high pressure builds over the southeastern mainland and a series of lows and fronts pass well to the southwest. With the high pressure system moving into the Tasman Sea early next week the airstream will tend northerly and freshen ahead of an approaching cold front mid week.
