A weak cold front approaches and crosses the southwest of the state later today. A warm front approaches Tasmania from the northwest, forecast to move over the state as associated low pressure system moves over the southeastern mainland during Friday. The warm front is expected to clear to the east of the state, with a ridge of high pressure forecast to develop over Tasmania during Saturday, persisting into Sunday. Another cold front is expected to approach from the southwest late Sunday and cross the state during Monday.
