A high pressure ridge is forecast to lie over Tasmania until Sunday, bringing settled weather to the state. The ridge is expected to move over the Tasman Sea later Sunday, directing a warmer northeasterly airstream over the state. A weak trough is expected to approach Tasmania from the west on Monday and cross Tuesday morning, bringing a north to northwesterly airstream to the state.
