A low pressure system is approaching from the west and will cross Tasmania over the weekend. This will bring a series of cold fronts today and on Sunday, with a westerly flow persisting into Monday. Later Monday, a large and significant low pressure system is expected to move over the Bight and approach Tasmania. It will cross Tasmania and Victoria during Tuesday, extending several fronts and troughs over those states as it passes.
