A northwesterly airstream will continue over Tasmania, but will turn westerly in the wake of a cold front that will cross the state during this morning. Northwesterly winds will increase Sunday evening ahead of another cold front that will cross the state during Monday. A ridge of high pressure is expected to approach Tasmania from the northwest on Tuesday and move to the east of the state during Wednesday.
