Southwesterly 15 to 20 knots, reaching up to 30 knots south of Streaky Bay early in the morning. Winds turning south to southeasterly below 10 knots during the afternoon and evening.

1.5 to 2.5 metres, decreasing to 1 to 1.5 metres around midday, then decreasing below 1 metre by early evening.

1st Swell

Southwesterly 1 to 2 metres, increasing to 2 to 3 metres during the morning, then tending south to southwesterly 2.5 metres later in the evening.

Weather Situation

A low pressure system south of Kangaroo Island and an associated cold front will continue to move southeastwards over southeastern coastal waters early today, reaching the Tasman Sea later today. In the wake of this system, a high pressure system will move into the Bight on Thursday and into Bass Strait on Friday with another low pressure system moving into western coastal waters late Friday.
