North to northeasterly 15 to 20 knots becoming variable about 10 knots in the early afternoon then becoming south to southeasterly 15 to 25 knots in the late afternoon. Winds reaching up to 30 knots offshore in the late evening.

Seas

Around 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres later in the evening.

1st Swell

Southwesterly 1 to 1.5 metres, decreasing to around 1 metre during the morning, then increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres by early evening.

Weather Situation

A high pressure system centred east of Tasmania extends a ridge over SA. The ridge will move eastwards today ahead of a cold front and trough expected to move across the west and south of SA during Wednesday. The trough will clear the northeast during Thursday and a high pressure ridge will move across waters well to the south. A low pressure trough will develop over the far west of SA on Friday then move eastwards next weekend.
