A high pressure system south of the Bight extends a ridge over southern parts of the state. The high will drift eastward over the coming days, clearing east of Australia from Thursday. A trough and low pressure system are then forecast to track into western SA on Thursday, crossing the rest of the state on Friday, and then clearing the east early Saturday.
