A trough of low pressure lingers about the northeast of SA this evening, as another trough of low pressure develops over the west. This broad area of low pressure is expected to slowly extend a trough across the state from the west during Friday and Saturday, before contracting to the far northeast on Sunday evening. Behind this, a ridge of high pressure moves over the west and south during Sunday, persisting throughout SA by late Monday.
