A high pressure system centred over the Tasman Sea extends a ridge over SA coastal waters. The ridge will move eastwards during today as a cold front approaches from the west. A series of vigorous cold fronts are expected to move over from the west over the weekend and early next week. A slow-moving high pressure system will become established south of the Bight mid next week.
