A trough lies along the northern NSW waters is forecast to bring unsettled conditions. A ridge from the south is expected to settle across the coast and ranges from today, directing east to southeasterly winds across the weekend and into next week. Then, the ridge is forecast to drift to the coastal waters early next week, turning the winds northerly for the southern half of the coast.
