Weather Situation

A high pressure system in the Bight is directing south to southwesterly winds to the Coastal Waters today, before a weak trough brushes the coast on Thursday bringing a fresh and gusty southerly change. Winds will turn south to southeasterly and tend fresh and gusty along the north coast from Friday as the high enters the Tasman Sea. A weak trough near the coast may develop over the weekend.
