- Weather Situation
- Slow moving troughs over the central coastal waters and the far north coast will direct a southeasterly flow to the coastal waters today, tending fresh and gusty across the southern, central, and far north coasts. Winds will gradually ease from Monday and turn east to northeasterly as the troughs decay and a high pressure system slips south. The high will then build over the Tasman Sea and extend a ridge over the coastal waters from Wednesday, maintaining and freshening a northeasterly flow.
