- Weather Situation
- A trough is brushing the far north coast and heading towards southeast Queensland, with fresh southerly winds in its wake. This trough is quickly followed by a ridge extends from a high passing to the south of the state. The ridge is expected to be the dominant feature through most of the week, apart from a brief incursion of a weak southerly change midweek, as a series of high pressure systems pass to the south through the week. Then, the next cold front looks set to cross the coastal waters Sunday through early next week.
