Weather Situation

A trough lies over the northeast corner while a high pressure ridge extends across the southern and central parts of the state. The second trough is forecast to brush the coast on Tuesday, with a fresh coastal southerly wind change in the wake, and this will reinforce the existing trough in the northeast. The southerly change will move to southern Queensland coast by Wednesday and this will be followed by another high pressure ridge extending along the coast.
