Weather Situation

A high over the southern Tasman Sea extends a ridge over the state, while a low over the northern Tasman Sea is heading further eastwards. A trough looks set to enter the far south coast late Wednesday and continue crossing the rest of the coastal waters on Thursday through early Friday, with fresh gusty southerly winds in its wake.
