- Weather Situation
- Fresh to strong north to northwesterly winds are developing ahead of a cold front associated with a deep low near the Bass Strait. This front will cross the coastal waters today into early Wednesday, bringing fresh to strong westerly winds in the wake, and persisting mid to late this week as the low moves across Tasmania and enters the southwestern Tasman Sea. Winds will then turn south to southwesterly later in the week as a series of cold fronts or troughs cross the coastal waters.
