Weather Situation
A low pressure system over the northern waters will move towards the coast this evening and weaken, with another low deepening over the northern Tasman Sea on Sunday. These lows will generate vigorous southeasterly winds and large and powerful waves, mainly along the northern and central parts of the coast, before they move away to the east on Monday. A ridge of high pressure is expected to develop in the wake of these lows and the next front looks set to brush the far southern waters on Tuesday.
