- Weather Situation
- A fresh and gusty southerly wind change is moving up the coast as a cold front and its associated trough brush the east. The change is forecast to reach southeastern Queensland on Tuesday and stall, briefly deepening into a low pressure system later before heading well-offshore on Wednesday. Southerly winds will gradually shift easterly late Tuesday through midweek as a high pressure system over the Bight extends a ridge across the south while drifting eastwards, contracting to the Tasman Sea by Thursday.
