- Weather Situation
- A ridge of high pressure to the northeast of Tasmania is producing a northwesterly air stream over the state that will strengthen today as a low and cold front approaches from the west. The cold front will cross early Tuesday morning, with the deep low to move to the south of the state later Tuesday. The low is then expected to move away to the east on Wednesday, with a much colder southwesterly airstream to build over Tasmania that will slowly ease through Thursday.
