A high pressure system off the south east coast is maintaining a ridge over coastal waters. A series of weak troughs will skim the south eastern coasts late Tuesday and early Wednesday before a new high in the west maintains ridging over the marine districts for the rest of the week as it slowly drifts eastwards.
