Weather Situation

A trough will move over southern coastal districts today and a high pressure system will move to a position over the Bight. The high will move eastwards to be centred over the Tasman Sea on Thursday but will still extend a ridge northwestwards over SA. The ridge will move eastwards on Friday as a cold front approaches from the west. A series of vigorous cold fronts are expected to move over SA coastal waters over the weekend and early next week.
