Weather Situation

A series of cold fronts and troughs will pass to the south over the next few days, bringing bursts of fresh to strong westerly winds to southern and central waters. A high pressure system is forecast to cross the state and reach the Tasman Sea between Sunday and Monday, with winds turning northeasterly ahead of a cold front that looks set to cross the state mid to late next week.
