Warning to Sheep Graziers

Issued at 4:57 AM EST on Saturday 30 Aug 2025.

Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, showers and southwesterly winds are expected during Saturday. Areas likely to be affected include the King Island and Furneaux Islands forecast districts and parts of the Midlands, East Coast and South East forecast districts. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.

The Warning to Sheep Graziers for the North West Coast and North East forecast districts has been cancelled.

The next warning will be issued by 11:00 am EST Saturday.
