Minor Flood Warning for the Huon River

Flood Warning Number: 5
Minor flooding may re-develop along the upper Huon River from Wednesday night into Thursday morning and move down the catchment. Rain is forecast for the Huon catchment for Wednesday with falls of around 30mm possible. Snowmelt may also contribute to river rises.
River levels have fallen to below Minor flood level after Tuesday's rises.
Higher than normal tides are occurring that may impact water levels at Huonville.
Strong and dangerous flows will be a hazard over the next couple of days.
Huon River above Tahune
River levels are expected to rise from Wednesday afternoon around Harrison's Opening.
River levels are expected to rise due to forecast rainfall.
Huon River - Tahune to Judbury
Minor flooding may occur along the Huon River - Tahune to Judbury based on forecast rainfall.
Huon River around Huonville
Minor flooding may occur along the Huon River around Huonville.
