Issued at 10:32 AM AEST on Friday 29 Aug 2025.

Flood Warning Number: 3

NO FURTHER FLOODING EXPECTED AT FINGAL

Moderate rainfall was observed since Wednesday morning across much of the South Esk River catchment. This resulted in river level rises and a minor flood peak during Thursday morning at Fingal, where river levels are now below the minor flood level and falling.

Rainfall is forecast over the catchment from late Friday morning to Saturday morning, which may cause small renewed river level rises. However, river levels are expected to remain below minor flood levels into the weekend.
