Major Flood Warning for the Flinders River

MINOR FLOODING HAS EASED AT RICHMOND FOLLOWING A MODERATE FLOOD PEAK
MAJOR FLOODING EXPECTED TO CONTINUE FALLING SLOWLY AT WALKERS BEND
Moderate rainfall since Tuesday has caused renewed river level rises along the upper Flinders River. Minor flooding has eased along the Flinders River at Richmond, where river levels are falling following a moderate flood peak during Saturday.
Downstream along the lower Flinders River at Walkers Bend, major flooding is expected to continue falling slowly following a major flood peak earlier this month.
Isolated showers and thunderstorms are forecast over the next few days, but are not expected to contribute to any significant river level rises.

Minor flooding is no longer occurring at Richmond.
Flinders River downstream of Richmond
Major flooding is expected to be continuing along the Flinders River downstream of Richmond.
