RIVER LEVELS HAVE EASED ALONG THE NICHOLSON AND ALBERT RIVERS
River levels have eased across the Nicholson River catchment following recent rainfall and elevated river levels.
Further showers and thunderstorms are forecast over the next few days, which may lead to renewed river level rises along the Nicholson, Gregory and Albert Rivers. This situation is being monitored, and warnings will be issued as required.
A Flood Watch is current for parts of the Gulf Country and Cape York Peninsula.
